I'm an Engineer by day, Knitter by night! I love to knit because it gives me a break from my technical geeky brain and allows my creative side to come out :)
Started knitting at the age of 8 as a mother-daughter bonding activity. Knitted only scarves until X'mas 2009 when I knitted my first pattern. And I've been hooked ever since!
My hobbies include knitting (that's obvious!), photography and traveling. My goal in life is to travel to to each continent at least once :) I've got 2 left - Africa and Antarctica!
In Feb 2012, I became a mom to the most beautiful and precious baby girl :) I love watching her discover the world. She's such a good baby - even allowing me to knit sometimes :) I hope when she grows up I can share with her the joys of knitting and creating something from just a ball of yarn and some needles.
If you're wondering about the photo (LoL), I do this pose and snap a shot in most places I've traveled to with my hubby. It's my "Queen of the Land" pose :D I'm currently the Queen in Edinburgh, Scotland; Cathedral Cove, NZ; Lhasa, Tibet (where the photo was taken) and the Inca Trail, Peru. Yes, I'm quite the conqueror!
